Meditation is The Art of Being Present and is all about cultivating conscious awareness. Therefore, it is NOT something that can truly be DONE… However, it can be practiced.
The tough thing about Practicing something new is that we want to be experts. We want to reach the goal but don’t always have the patience and perseverance to go through the uncomfortable parts.
One of the greatest skills that I have developed as a result of Yoga (meditation is just 1 limb of the 8-part philosophy of Yoga) is how to be ‘Comfortable with the Uncomfortable’.
This has helped me to speak up for myself in challenging situations, have those difficult conversations that I’d rather avoid and show up on the mat (and on the track), even though part of me would rather take a nap.
It will be my great pleasure to share My Roadmap for setting up a Successful Meditation Practice, along with How to Overcome some of the blocks and challenges that will arise (including but not limited to: ‘Am I doing it right?’, ‘I can’t seem to get comfortable’ and ‘I don’t have enough time in my schedule’).
Message me on Facebook to save your spot on the cushion! See you soon Mary
