Do you journal? There are 10 different kinds of journaling techniques (although I’m sure you can think of more):
- Dream journal – catalogues dreams from the night before π€ππ΄
- Food journal – record meals, times and feelings regarding food π₯π₯¦π
- Workout journal – tracks exercises, reps and progress in fitness πββοΈποΈββοΈπ΅ββοΈ
- Bullet journals – charts tasks and habits, ideas and helps us prioritize our work π¨βπ¬π©βπ»π¨βπ¨
- Gratitude journal – write down things you’re grateful for πππ¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
- Travel journal – keep memories of special trips and new places you visit πββΊ
- Happiness journal – a natural antidepressant, helps you track the little or big things that give you joy ππΎπ·
- Hobby journal (artistic/plants/reading/birdwatching, etc) – a place to observe, create or respond to your environment and favorite activities π¨β³π
- Letter or poetry journal – a place to write letters to your future self or others (no need to send) or create some poetry here πππͺ
- Freewriting journaling – a place to write openly and honestly, just put your pen to paper and see what comes outπππ
